Soothbee ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your data belongs to you — especially when it involves your family.
Data collection
We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:
- Audio: All cry detection and voice commands are processed on-device using Apple's on-device ML. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- Usage data: We do not track how you use the app.
- Analytics: We do not use any third-party analytics services.
- Advertising: We do not show ads or share data with advertisers.
On-device processing
The App uses Apple's CoreML framework to run AI models directly on your iPhone or iPad. This means:
- Cry detection happens locally on your device
- Voice commands are processed on-device
- No internet connection is required for core features
- No audio data ever leaves your device
Audio streaming
The App streams soothing audio content from our servers. When streaming:
- We do not track which tracks you listen to
- We do not associate streams with any user identity
- Downloaded content is stored locally on your device
Third-party services
The App uses:
- Cloudflare R2: For audio content delivery (CDN). Cloudflare may collect anonymised performance metrics.
- Apple's StoreKit: For in-app purchases, handled entirely by Apple.
Children's privacy
The App is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Data security
Since we don't collect personal data, there is no data to secure. All local data (preferences, favourites) is stored in your device's secure storage.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
